EPiC Assessments

These terms and conditions apply to services provided by EPiC Assessments.
By booking an assessment with EPiC Assessments you agree to the terms outlined below.
Services
EPiC Assessments provides:
• Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)
• Retrofit assessments
• Related property energy assessment services
All services are carried out in accordance with relevant industry standards and accreditation scheme requirements.
Booking Appointments
Appointments can be arranged by phone or email.
The customer is responsible for ensuring access to the property at the agreed time.
If access is not available at the arranged appointment time, EPiC Assessments reserves the right to charge a reasonable call-out fee.
Property Access
The customer must ensure safe access to all areas required to complete the assessment, including:
• loft spaces where accessible
• heating systems
• windows and external walls.
If certain areas cannot be accessed, the assessment may be completed using assumptions permitted under EPC methodology.
Payment
Payment is due within before issue of certificate unless otherwise agreed.
Invoices will normally be issued following completion of the assessment.
EPiC Assessments reserves the right to withhold certain documentation until payment has been received.
Cancellations
If an appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, EPiC Assessments may charge a cancellation fee.
This helps cover travel time and lost appointment slots.
Liability
EPiC Assessments will carry out all services with reasonable skill and care.
However, EPC assessments are based on visible inspection and information available at the time of the visit.
EPiC Assessments cannot be held responsible for hidden defects or information not disclosed.
Accreditation
All EPC assessments are carried out by an assessor accredited through ECMK.
EPC certificates are lodged on the official government register in accordance with current regulations.
